Hi Ryan, Sorry not to get straight back to you, just got back from a 48hr session, right to your question, by far the best particle are Tiger nuts however a lot of fishies have banned the use of nuts, the reasons are many fold the two main reasons are that if nuts are not prepared properly they will kill carp also there is no nutrition in them either, so if all anglers used them the carp the carp would lose so much weight, if I were going to fish particles I would use either Maple peas which have a tough outer skin which are also impervious to other species aand can be hair rigged and are easy to prepare just soak for 24hrs then boil for 15 – 20 minutes and are cost effective too, the more you buy the cheaper they become for instance 2kilo would be £2.85, 5 kilo = £5.40, 12.5 kilo = £10.75 and 25 kilo = £18.25, Maple peas swell up when soaked to double their size, they are one of the cheapest particles on the market, but countless fish are caught on them every year, check out Hinders w
