I’m now listed as pending-deficient in NMLS. What does that mean?

That means that we have reviewed your application and found that your application is missing something or is otherwise not acceptable. We will have placed a “deficiency” or a “requirement” on your application that explains what is necessary to complete the application so that we can approve it. Please log in to the NMLS to review what that item is. For instance, if we cannot verify that you have passed the state test, we will put a requirement that indicates that and directs you to send us your passing certificate. When you send us that certificate, we will be able to clear that item. If that was the only item, we would be able to change your license status.
