Im not getting an image when I use the recording utility. Whats wrong?

1) Make sure that you have “Capture Video” selected in the Setup tab of the recording utility. 2) Select the appropriate “Video source” in the “Encoding tab” of the recording utility. If you’re not sure which device is the right device, you will need to experiment. 3) Make sure the status bar reads “OK” after you have selected your video source. To test whether you are getting video you can use the “Preview” button. Selecting this button will open a preview window that displays the video image that will be captured.
