Im not able to see all the newsgroups, listed in the popup window, in News Rover. What am I doing wrong?
Sounds like your ISP’s news server doesn’t support all the newsgroups. What you need is a news service provider. Here’s a list www.newsrover.com/service.htm www.newshosting.com This is the service we use. They have an unlimited download plan for just $15 a month. I’ve downloaded several AVI files that I’d like to combine to make a longer movie. How do I join AVI and/or MPG files? For .mpg files use Camel’s MPEG Join. • If you’re using Windows XP, you’ll need to make a change to Camel’s for it to work. • Click “Start”, “Programs”, Right-Click on Camel’s MPEG Join and click “Properties”. • Click the “Compatibility” tab, Check “Run this program in compatibility mode” and choose “Windows 98/Windows ME”. • Click “OK”. This will allow Camel’s to work in XP. • Open Camel’s using the Start Menu. • Click “Add” and browse to the folder where you have the .mpg files. • Click to highlight the first file, hold the shift key and click the last file.
