Im moving ConsoleWorks to another machine. Will a different IP address affect ConsoleWorks?

Before the move, log in via your browser and go to the menu item for Admin->Server->Configuration. If the first field, (Server Host Address) is 0.0.0.0, then there should be no issue. This means ConsoleWorks will be listening for requests on all NICs and IP’s assigned to the server. (Note that this is usually the correct setting for machines with multiple NICs.) If the field has an actual IP address, we suggest setting it to 0.0.0.0 for the move, testing the configuration, and then changing it to the new IP address (if required). If any ConsoleWorks users are connecting via IP address, then they will have to re-create any links or favorites. If you use the SSL version of ConsoleWorks, please check whether your SSL certificate was generated using host name or IP address, and regenerate the certificate(s) as necessary.
