Well – in all honesty, thats up to you. We are fully aware that the timing of this project means that many people will need to do work for their GCSE’s and A levels. A majority of those in Year 11, 12 and 13 are likely to be cast as Miners and Police and we will therefore restrict the number of days that you are required. For example, we may only need you for two or three days during the first rehearsal week, so you will be able to revise and work on the days when you are not required. Plenty of notice will be given about when these ‘off days’ will be. In addition, Throughout the rehearsal process (at both venues), we will have a ‘work’ room set aside where people can go when not needed onstage so that they can revise. We will maintain a quiet atmosphere in this room and people not needing to work will not be permitted to enter. There will be plenty of ‘time out’ from rehearsals (not everybody is in every scene) and we hope that by carefully scheduling all rehearsals, we can ensure tha
