I am an American looking for information about getting working papers and a job in France. While we belong to a large teaching network our main goal is not to find teaching jobs for potential applicants. Therefore, the answer to this question is not an easy one. The short answer is, if you are not: • Married to a French national • A European resident • A US Citizen who has lived in France for an eternity and managed to get grand-fathered into the system, obtaining work papers is next to impossible.
