Im looking for a quote by Hemingway that says “there is no hunting like the hunting of men.” Where does it come from?
The quote appeared in the April 1936 issue of Esquire. It was the first line of an article titled “On The Blue Water: A Gulf Stream Letter.” The exact quote follows: “Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.” This article has been reprinted in a book called Byline, Ernest Hemingway which has recently been reissued. You can find it at our Lost Generation Bookstore by clicking the link below.
