In general, a chihuahua is NOT a childrens dog. It is an adults dog. Keep in mind that if you hurt or scare them, they have lots of sharp little teeth to express their opinion. Also, Chihuahuas die when dropped from two feet high little hands. Want a good present for a six year old? Those “Crash Test Dummy” toys from Mattel… available at Walmart… now that’s a cool toy!!! The same is true for a 2, 3, 4, and 5 year old.
