Im lactose intolerant… are there any decent dairy free cheeses out there?

I’d avoid the sheeps, just in case. I’m slightly lactose intolerant too which is partly why I went vegan and I really thought I’d struggle without cheese but I haven’t at all. Dairy free cheeses (approx £1.99 for approx 200g) are not the same as dairy, obviously, and I was a bit disappointed at first but I found I really got a taste for them after a couple of weeks. I like Redwood’s Cheezly. There are lots of different ones, like cheddar, nacho, mozzarella or even feta. You can get it from places like Holland & Barrett and some Tescos, Morrisons’ and Waitroses, or online. They don’t all melt but these ones are best for sandwiches. The super melting ones are brilliant for pizza or toast etc. I recently bought loads of different flavours of Bute Island’s Sheese online from Goodness direct (http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk) after I’d heard good things but I was a bit disappointed with it.
