Im just wondering… What is the difference between Moral and Ethics?
Morality usually implies a higher-level code of conduct, such as the behavioral expectations of a religion or culture (i.e., social mores). Morality means a code of conduct which is held to be authoritative in matters of right and wrong. Morals are created by and define society, philosophy, religion, or individual conscience. Ethics is a major branch of philosophy, encompassing right conduct and good life. It is significantly broader than the common conception of analyzing right and wrong. A central aspect of ethics is “the good life,” the life worth living, or life that is simply satisfying, which is held by many philosophers to be more important than moral conduct. Ethical principles are often applied to parochial behavioral expectations, such as those actions expected of a professional. Thus, lawyers and physicians have ethical codes to which they are expected to adhere.
