Im interested in setting up small publishing company. What printing companies would you recommend for perfect-bound?
Adibooks.com is the online name for King Printing Co. in Lowell, Ma. They are a full-service printer for indie publishers, small-publishers, etc, with services from printing to warehousing and fulfillment. Their printing costs are the best I have seen in a fair amount of searching, and you can verify that by using their pricing tool which is virtually instantaneous at www.adibooks.com They are also fast. They handle perfectbound as well as hardcover, and they are also doing an upcoming title for me which includes a CDROM in a sleeve inside the back cover. Disclosure: The only business relationship I have with them is that they have published 6 titles for my company, Harvard Perspectives Press, including the title noted below which is in its 5th printing, all with adibooks.com.
