There are several excellent organizations involved in Midwifery training and referrals. One is Midwiferytoday.com and another is The Midwives’ Alliance of North America or you can email them at Manainfo@aol.comHere in San Miguel we have a national school of Midwifery which trains midwives as well as provides midwifery care. Though currently only accepting Mexican nationals as students, there is also an intern program for visiting students from the U.S. Please see more about the organization C.A.S.A- Centro de Adolescentes de San Miguel, the midwifery school, the internship program, and make a donation if you can, by clicking here for the C.A.S.A. website or sending your enquiries to internos@casa.org.
