Im installing gas logs in my fireplace, but I have to run a gas line to my basement. Is there anyway that I can run the gas line outside my house to the basement?
Do you already have the gas logs? If not you can sometimes buy these items through the gas company and they normally install them for free. If your just needing to run lines. I can only say you need to check with the gas company because here where I live a professional has to hook gas lines up so they are done through codes. If you are allowed to do it yourself then I am sure it will have to be inspected before they will hook it up. If your wondering is it possible for you to run your own line and tie into the gas meter well no that is not legal. Most of the information you need has to come from your local gas company.
