A. As a street based aerial event, most of the official viewing areas are accessible to disabled visitors, although views of the London Eye itself for wheelchair users may be restricted due to crowd density. In previous years prior to 2007 a dedicated disabled viewing area has been located at Cleopatra’s Needle. Whilst the view from this area was un-restricted, access to the viewing area was impossible after around 21.00 due to the large numbers of people who gather in these areas. In 2007 we created a new-Disabled viewing areas and as such Cleopatra’s Needle is no longer be designated as an official disabled viewing area. Albert Embankment opposite the Houses of Parliament Thames Path behind St Thomass Hospital. Access by car from Lambeth Bridge/ Lambeth Palace Road where the police will allow a drop off, and parking is available in the local streets.
