A student who wants to change from a current degree program to another degree program should proceed as follows: • Examine the requirements of the new program and submit all additional documents in support of the program change which may not have been required for admission to the student’s original program. • Submit a formal, written request to the Dean of the Graduate College, along with a new statement of goals, providing the details and rationale for requesting the change a form is available for this process. This will initiate a reevaluation process for admission into a new program. Normally, only one program change is approved. • The request for program change will be evaluated by the new department/program, which may or may not accept any work completed in the previous program, within limits defined by the Graduate College for transfer credit.
