Most of these problems are caused because users do not have the JAVA Runtime program installed on their machine. The first step is to download and install JAVA. We are currently recommending that users install JAVA 1.6_01. If you are running the Windows Vista operating system, you MUST use JAVA version 1.6 in order to have WebCT work correctly. Earlier versions will not work when using Vista, particularly when using IE 7.
