Here are some steps that can help explain how our text reader software interacts with the Windows clipboard and how to get started: 1. Open Power Text to Speech Reader and click Option button on toolbar. 2. Choose Clipboard tab and make sure “Watch clipboard” and “Prompt to copy from clipboard” are checked. 3. Minimize Power Text to Speech Reader or close it to the system tray (just click on the “x” to close the Window) and then switch to your email program (or whatever). 4. Use your mouse to highlight some text and hit Ctrl-C. That brings up the Power Text to Speech Reader clipboard prompt, then just click “New” and it will create an article in Power Text to Speech Reader. Now click on one of the Speak buttons and listen to the text read aloud.
