Check what region the DVD is by looking at the label inside the case. If it is a Region 1 DVD and the DVD player you are using is not set up as multi-region, then this will be the reason why it is not playing. If you are using the PCs next to the Enquiry desk in the Library, you can watch Region 1 DVDs on the three PCs nearest the stairs, and Region 2 DVDs on the three PCs nearest the Enquiry desk. The DVD software does not start up automatically, but can be found by going to Start, Programs, Applications, DVD player.
