The basic explanation seems to be upgrading to IE 7 works most of the time flawlessly. However in a small handfull of cases the upgrade corrupts the Adobe/Macromedia Flash plugin to IE 7. The only solution being to uninstall the plugin, download a new stand alone copy and reinstall. Try this link for the latest download of the Flash plugin.
