Visitors from outside of the Lower Mainland (east of Hope, north of Squamish), can obtain a temporary visitors permit while they stay with someone who lives in a permit zone. Bring in the visitor’s vehicle insurance, and 2 pieces of residential ID (bank statements, bills, drivers license, etc) from the person they are visiting within the permit zone. The fee for the temporary permit is $5 per week.
