Im going to learn Spanish using Rosetta Stone. Should I learn Latin American Spanish or Spain Spanish?
If you intend to get around southern USA or visit South/Central America, Latin American Spanish is best. For speaking with people from Europe, Spain Spanish is best. There aren’t significant differences, so either one will work. The main differences are in pronunciation of certain sounds (like s, j, y), slang terms, and the use of a plural, second-person (vosotros) is mainly only for Spain. Either one should work, but I think latin american spanish is more common around the usa.
