I have’nt been to Costa teguise but I have been to Puerto del Carman, matagorda and Playa De los pocillos. I thought it was lovely in these places, yes there is a bit of a breeze but I have been in February, March and in the summer and I did’nt think there was much difference in the weather. People I know have beend to Costa Teguise and they stayed in the Sands beach Villas, they said that their apartments were nice but the actual resort is very quiet with not alot of athmosphere and not particularly alto to do, they were glad that they picked the Sands beach villas to stay in cos they had plenty of activities to do there in the day and the night. Also, another apartment that I know of in Costa Teguise is the Teguisol. They are supposed to be nice too. Also, watch out when you land into Arrecife airport as it is really scary, Im afraid of flying mind but it seems as though you are going to land in the sea as the airport is on the beach not far from Matagorda. i went there last year july 1st week August 2008,the weather was windy but we all burnt badly, the sun lotions we purchased in the uk was not suitable so ended up getting stung by the site reps (£30) for a local concoction.we stayed at tigasol apartments ,apart from legging out round the pool the place was booring, the food (we went full board) was disgusting,so ended up eating out after a few days, night life was non existant,so it was mooching about at night and going to legends pub,we did nightly quiz in pub opersite,if you have a good memory you will get a high score as questions same every other night.the trips to tymenfire was great and rancho texas and catlanda well worth the money, also think twice if you are considering buying a tax free camera,we ended up buying two pentax 8 mega pixel cameras, what we thought was a great price after much bartering, only to find out they were cheaper in dixons in the u.k.
