Im getting duplicate events and/or contact records after syncing. What could be the problem?
First please note, that in the event you get duplicates after a Palm sync, you can revert back to the pre-sync version of your file quite easily. The conduits make a backup of your primary contact file and primary calendar file before each sync. That backup is located in a folder called “Pre Palm Sync Backups” which is located in the same enclosing folder where your contact and calendar files are stored. The following eight suggestions help to avoid getting duplicates when syncing Now Up-to-Date and Now Contact to a Palm OS-based handheld device. 1. Don’t sync your Palm to more than one computer. Now Up-to-Date & Contact does not support syncing your Palm OS device to more than one computer, even if it’s a PC and even if you’re syncing to a different program there.
