Im getting a new printer. What would work best with Dress Shop?
Well, that depends on whether you want a sheet feed printer or a continuous feed printer. Here are some thoughts: For a sheet feed printer (the most common), just buy any laser printer or ink jet printer. Get a brand name you have heard of (Epson, Panasonic, almost anything familiar) and you will have little setup problem. There are many, many excellent printers now and I would go with something inexpensive, rather than any particular model. They are all getting pretty similar now days. Ink jets are generally cheaper and work just fine. The new ones can have tiny, tiny dot size. Look for those. The smaller the dots, the cleaner and crisper your lines. Black and white is fine for Dress Shop, but color is getting cheaper now, too. I have a photo quality printer that I use to print my family pictures, greeting cards, and such. It is beautiful and cost $249. They can be found much cheaper than that now. Or, if you are willing to spend more time getting setup (with some possible frustration
