Im getting a DUR denial. What can I do?
For details about the denial, check the DUR message. If necessary, you can submit the claim with DUR overrides. It is your responsibility to determine whether an override is appropriate; DSHS staff cannot make that decision. If you have multiple DUR denials, you can submit multiple DUR override segments contact your software vendor for instructions. DSHS has fine tuned the DUR rejects coming out of the new system, and we expect that you should no longer see multiple DURs that require override, although you may receive several informational DUR messages.
