We make offers of 32 points with at least 5 in Chemistry. IB Maths courses have been redesigned from 2006, and we recommend HL Maths, and require at least SL Mathematics (grade 5); SL Mathematical Studies is not normally acceptable. More schools are now offering IB, and we get a few applicants per year. We don’t have enough data to say if IB or A levels are better preparation for a science degree.
