A. Work at Home rights (previously know as Home Use) allow for only work-related use on a computer at home. Personal use is not allowed. The only product that can legally be used under the provisions of Work at Home is Microsoft Office (any version). Use of a Microsoft operating system is not licensed for any personally-owned computer under the provisions of Work at Home rights. The home use rights that we had under the old contract expired as of July 31, 2003. To continue using Microsoft Software at home, your department must purchase software assurance for the license owned by the department.
