No, no and no. Degree level Chemistry will include areas of physical and theoretical chemistry where you will use algebra, trigonometry, exponentials and logarithms (base 10 and natural), and calculus. The subjects listed in the question do not cover these. Awarding Bodies offer many qualifications that are described as Mathematics, although the situation is now clearer with the introduction of new AS and A2 specifications for first examination in January 2005, so that most October 2006 entrants will offer a new specification AS or A2 Maths. All Mathematics qualifications under the new specifications are acceptable, not all old specification qualifications are acceptable. Although we normally require A level Mathematics grade B, our absolute minimum entry requirement is AS Mathematics grade B.
