Im currently transcribing 1863 December Births scans and one of the Index Pages is showing year 1963 on the Index Page heading. Do I transcribe the Index Page as year 1863 or 1963?

Check the Index pages each side of the one showing the possible incorrect year to establish if the surnames (in conjunction with the first names) are in sequence for the three Index Pages.
