Im currently taking Synthroid (or another prescription), but I want to try Thyodine. What do you advise?
We are not doctors and cannot give medical advice. Only you and your doctor can decide whether or not you should be using thyroid medication. We can, however, report that we have had a large number of customers who were taking Synthroid or other thyroid medications but desired to improve the functioning of their thyroid gland by using the proper nutritional support. In many cases these people were successful and felt that they no longer needed their prescription. Some of these customers reported that they had tapered off their medication and then started using Thyodine. Others told us that they used Thyodine along with their prescription, at least for a time. Again, this is anecdotal evidence reported by our customers and is not to be interpreted as medical advice.
