When reporting an error, Pathscale-compiled executables try to read fromt the file lib.cat. This file resides on the home filesystem, which cannot be accessed from the compute nodes – hence the error message. To fix this problem, copy the file /opt/pathscale/lib/3.0/lib.cat into your local work file space and set the environment variable NLSPATH to point to it. You should then receive a more sensible error message about your code.
