Im Australian and marrying a Scottish lass. Are we eligible for dual passports?
You should stay in Scotland/the UK until you have ILR and then citizenship which makes you eligible for a UK passport or you could apply for a UK spouse visa and then qualify for citizenship – both alternatives will take roughly the same time before you are eligible for a passport. Your Scottish gf/wife should then apply for an Australian partner visa which will give you immediate permanent residence if you have been married (or de facto) for 5 years at the time of application.
