Im applying for an Australia Council Music Board grant. What do I need to do to make sure my project is compatible with Music Australia?
To ensure your project is compatible and can be included in the Music Australia service you should use best practice and applicable standards in the project and make sure the outcome of your work is represented and described by one of the libraries, archives or institutions contributing to Music Australia If you create a website or online resource, guidelines on best practice are available from the National Library of Australia website: • PADI : preserving access to digital information : Standards • Pandora : Australia’s Web Archive Following best practice guidelines will help ensure your work can be found in the future, that links in the online resource do not break, your resource could be made available to services supported by the Australia Council, and could be selected for permanent archiving in Pandora.
