I’m about to graduate or leave the University. What do I need to do to prepare my myUMB Mail account?
The myUMB Mail account is not a ‘for life’ account. Click here for more information about myUMB Mail Policies such as when myUMB Mail accounts are deactivated or deleted. Before you leave campus, we suggest that you notify your contacts and update any accounts or email lists that are still using your myUMB Mail address to communicate with you. Here are some suggestions on how to make this transition easier.Set up an Auto-Reply message that notifies senders that you will not be using this address after you leave campus. Set up Absolute myUMB Mail Forwarding to automatically forward messages to another email account. Copies of forwarded messages are not stored on the myUMB Mail server.
