I’m a worker; can I claim for any costs associated with attending a Conciliation Conference?
Generally, each party bears their own costs of conciliation. However, the WorkSafe Agent or self-insurer is liable to pay your reasonable transport expenses to and from the conciliation conference (up to $51) and reimburse you for any loss of income sustained by attending the conciliation conference (up to $356 per day). You will be provided with a form at the conclusion of the conference that can be used to claim these costs.
