Im a songwriter and I dont record my own material. Can I still get my songs on the site?
Yes you can! One feature that we have that other sites dont is a search by songwriter. That way, if youre not a performer on all (or any) of your songs, your material can still be found, sampled and bought. The only requirement is that the performer of your songs must also register with us as an artist. Are there really no contracts? Thats right. No contracts. All you have to do is complete the Artist Signup Screen, verify that you have read the Artist Consignment Agreement (which gives us permission to sell your material) and complete an Intellectual Property Rights form that says that the material that you are selling has all proper publisher/writer clearances which you will return with any product that you send to us. There has to be some sort of up-front fee. Everybody charges a fee. Not here. We make our money strictly from a portion of sales of consigned merchandise as well as advertising revenue.
