Im a shavee with donors outside the U.S., What should we do?
If you have just one or two donors who reside in another country, please encourage them to give online with a credit card. Their donation will be processed right away, their name will appear on your web page immediately, they’ll get a quick gift acknowledgement by email, and the Foundation will avoid the banking and currency conversion fees that apply to foreign checks, which can be prohibitive. If their credit or debit card company charges a foreign transaction fee, it will be added to their transaction. If you have several donors in another country, please consider collecting their gifts and wiring the total funds, or making one credit card gift to cover them all.
