I’m a secondary student/world language student/sign language student. Can I do my fieldwork at a high school/in a language classroom/Milwaukee Sign Language School?
No. All placements are at regular K-5 and K-8 schools. We will do everything in our power to place you in an upper level classroom. In your program you will have numerous opportunities to do fieldwork in your chosen grade levels. The purpose of CURRINS 300 is to provide an introduction to the profession and to the challenges and rewards of teaching in an urban setting.
