I’m a parent. Is there a way to establish a more direct link for communication?
Yes, you have a voice. Senate Bill 103 establishes a Parent’s Bill of Rights – those rights will be developed in a collaborative effort of family representatives, advocates, and TYC staff. The agency is pleased that the 2008-2009 legislative appropriations also included funding for seven family liaisons. These field-based liaisons will work with families to provide accessible and useful information, guidance, and training, regarding the agency’s policies, treatment programming, and opportunities for meaningful family participation.
