Non-degree students can receive financial aid from UNM, but only if the courses they are taking during the semester for which they’re requesting financial aid are “pre-requisites” for a degree in their major. This means that you cannot be taking courses that would count towards a biology degree during any semester for which you seek financial aid as a non-degree student. Back to FAQs.
