Im a dental hygienist who completed my education outside of Canada. Am I eligible to take DENT 9017 (Dental Hygiene Refresher)?
If you were trained as a dental hygienist outside of Canada, you need to have your dental hygiene academic documentation assessed by either the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board (NDHCB) or the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO). Once your qualifications have been approved by one of those organizations, we will allow you to register in DENT 9017 (Dental Hygiene Refresher). Please visit the NDHCB and CDHO web sites for specific requirements and more information on having your qualifications evaluated.
