IM A CURRENT STUDENT IN LAS, ENGINEERING, OR NURSING. WHAT ARE THE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS TO TRANSFER INTO BUSINESS?
Criteria for Admission – Students who wish to transfer to the College of Business from another degree program at UCCS may submit an application in the Student Success Center upon completion of 15 semester hours of graded work. Students must have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Students with a cumulative GPA between 2.0 and 2.5 will require review by the Business Advisor to be considered for admission. Students are encouraged to complete the freshman English an at least one required math course as early as possible. Residency Requirement – Interested students should transfer as early as possible to be sure they are able to take a minimum of 30 hours of business course work after they are admitted (residency requirement). Students should take 18 hours in one Area of Emphasis, BUAD 400 & BUAD 450 after admission to the College of Business. Catalog – A student’s business program/catalog year is the one in effect at the time the student is admitted to UCCS College of Business or to
SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1 CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION –Students, once at the university, may apply to transfer to the College of Business if they have met both requirements below: 1. A minimum of 15 semester hours must have been completed on the CU-Colorado Springs campus. Courses taken at other institutions are not considered in the required 15 hours or in the GPA. 2. A minimum overall GPA of 2.5 must have been achieved in all course work taken at University of Colorado. Remedial work is not included in the average.
