Im a 1st time used car buy and need help please. What are the right steps in buying a used car?
First thing to do is call around to get insurance quotes to make sure its affordable. You also want to get quotes before you buy because if they know you already bought the car they may give you higher rates. Make sure you drive it and keep the windows closed first and radio off and pay attention to noises. When you come to a stop and take off from a stop make sure you don’t hear any odd noises. Also ask if you can drive on the freeway to make sure you make the car shift through all the gears and pay attention to noise and smothness. A used car is not going to be perfect but you’ll know if something doesntt sound or feel right. If anything sounds questionable but they say it’s how it’s supposed to be You have to decide if you are comfortable taking the risk. No matter how much you like the car there are ton’s of car out there. Thay should have the title if they own the car so they will sign it over to you. DO NOT leave without a title.
