I do not practice in AR, but I may offer some general advice. The age of adulthood in AR is 18. So, you cannot move out without your parent’s consent until you turn 18. If you move out before then, they can contact the police to bring you back. You could petition a court for early emancipation. To be emancipated, you generally must convince a court you would be able to support yourself financially and it is in your best interest. Because you are 17, however, you may turn 18 before being emancipated, which would make emancipation moot. My advice: Try to work things out with your parents for the little time you have remaining under theif roof. If you don’t, you may end up burning bridges and regretting it later in life. Good luck!
