Illegal Drugs: Are Most of the Bad Effects of Illegal Drugs, Because they Are Illegal?

Yes, I have felt for some time that drugs should be made legal. They need to be controlled and more should be spent on education. Prohibition didn’t work and neither is the so called war on drugs. I feel there would be fewer over doses if people new what they were getting rather than ‘cut and pure’ risk that they now take. Just as drinking is changing with education and social persuasion. With emphasis on doing it responsibly, so could drug usage. People should be taught that being under the influence around children is unacceptable, giving it to minors is unacceptable and doing it while pregnant is unacceptable. It is much easier to tolerate what people do in privacy when they are not in dangering others etc. Doe’s the government try to protect the obese food junkie from them self? Do they not pose a risk with their obesity habits to their children? It should be about education and tolerance not the government telling a person what they can and can’t put into their own body.
