Yes, you will be notified if the e-mail that you have sent out is unsuccessful. However, you can choose to be informed of ‘bounced’ mails via SMS simply by enabling th function using the Starhub’s SMSemail Service. A bounced mail is a mail that did not reach its inteneded recipient. In the StarHub’s SMSemail main page, click on “Incoming Settings”. Check the box beside “Forward Bounced Mail Messages via SMS” to select this option. (Click on the box again to disable the feature). Henceforth, any bounced e-mails sent out via the mobile phone will be redirected back to the mobile phone in the form of an SMS informing users of the unsuccessful delivery. Please note that SMS charges remain as per normal for these messages.
