IGN FAQs: How did you first get started writing Pokemon FAQs?
Abigail Biddenback: I was bored and felt like offering to do something for Peer, quite frankly, since he’s one of the coolest IGN editors ever. I had been flipping through his humorous and insightful Pokedex offerings for IGN’s R/B/Y guide and was a little bummed that the G/S/C guide offered no such insights so I asked if I could do something like that myself, since I had the time and the interest (and he already knew me through other ah IGN pursuits). He said yes, so here I am. Though this was intended to inspire the same “It’s Pokemon of the Day time, YAY!!” type feeling that the original Pokemon of the Day Guy’s articles did when the release of Gold and Silver were imminent (it seems so long ago now), my articles are actually modeled after the Pokedex entries in that first awesome guide.
