If Zarek was raised in Rome with Valerius and his brothers, why does he have a Greek Accent?
Two reasons. One he was raised in the slave quarters with slaves who were Greek. It was the accent he heard most. Second, it didn’t want anything to do with his Roman father and he knew his speaking Greek and being Greek was a nettle to the old man. He figured it was infinitely better to be Greek than Roman.
