Use Task Manager to identify the process that is slowing down your system. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and click on the Processes tab. Scroll down and look for a process where the numbers under the CPU column are very high (ignore System Idle). The do a Google search on the process name e.g. svchost.exe to find out what it does. Freezing – this can be a number of things:- Application hang – this is where a program is not responding. Usually your mouse pointer can still move around the screen but the program seems to have crashed. System crash – this is where nothing responds i.e. the mouse does not move around the screen and keyboard strokes do nothing i.e. Ctrl + Alt + Delete does not work. Check Event Viewer to see if it is recording any errors. Double click Administrative Tools in Control Panel and select Event Viewer. Go through each section and double click on any errors to see what information they provide.

What is your question?
